And they overcame him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:11.
There are three things necessary to overcome the assaults of Satan when he tries to entice the saints into rebellion against God. It is not possible to survive his terrible assaults any other way.
1. We must continually maintain faith in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ on the cross to place us in and keep us in right standing with God by cleansing us from all sin.
2. We must faithfully give our testimony to this lost world of the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus.
3. We must not love our lives even unto death.
After all, when all is said and done, all that we really possess is our lives. If we are willing to lose our lives for Jesus Christ, there remains nothing else that Satan can do to win us back to his kingdom.
